With five plants in Germany, we expanded our production to Toledo , Ohio and established two teaching facilities in New York and Florida during the last five years to service our US customers in the automobile and dental industry. Electroplating : Gramm offers its 72 years expertise in electroplating (e.g., Nickel coating Aluminum, Copper, Ceramic and Plastic according to hardness, wear or corrosion resistance, solderability and bondability requirements by customer), hard anodizing with high corrosion or abrasion resistance in the treatment of surfaces up to 21'4" in length and the patented GST (Gramm Selective Technology ) that enables the user to selectively coat a specified area on the work piece without restriction of size or weight. The closed processing concept of the GAMMAT equipment ensures a working environment free of environmental concerns and high efficiency for the dental laboratory production. Laserwelding: Gramm Laser welders are easy-to use, low-maintance laser welders for manual spot and seam welding, currently used in such industries as dental, medical, jewelry , electronics, eye-glass repair, tooling and repair. Working with the world's leading manufacturers and teaching facilities of laser welding systems especially for the dental industry and medicine Gramm Technology can offer high quality German engeneered technology and service all over the United States and Europe. A Family Company : 1930 The brothers Friedrich and Adolf Gramm found Gramm Bros Metal Finishers , an electroplating company in Stuttgart, finishing components for industrial customers. 1959 Gerhard Gramm becomes Managing Director and the company moves to Ditzingen-Heimerdingen. 1975 A second plant is opened in the Saarland. 1980 GST (Gramm Selectiv Technik), is introduced for selective plating. It is a completely new special finishing process, environmentally friendly because it takes place in closed systems. 1988 Worldwide introduction of the patented GAMMAT® electroforming equipment for dentistry 1990 Gramm Technology, Washington is founded by Randy and Katharina Gramm-Everett as a central distribution point for the USA. 1991 Purchase of the Mikro-Elektronik concern in Ilmenau, in the former east German region. 1994 Headed by Alexander Gramm , Production and international marketing of fully automated in-line GST equipment is established. 1997 Introduction of the ALPHALASER welding systems to the US market. Company achieves DIN EN ISO 9001/9002 certification. 1998 Gramm Industries LLC, Perrysburg, Ohio founded. 1999 The GAMMAT® free is awarded the "Thüringen Prize" for Product Design. 2000 The IF Design Award is granted to the GAMMAT®
free. A new production site is built in Warstein, Sauerland. |
